- Information needed to arrange finance, such as accounts, bank statements, identification and details of directors and guarantors.

How we use it and why
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange finance. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and for our legitimate interests in running our business.
- To share your application with lenders you agree we can approach, so they can assess it.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-money laundering and identity checks, and record keeping.
- To send you occasional updates on business finance, only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
- Lenders and funders on our panel, with your agreement.
- Identity verification and fraud prevention agencies.
- Professional advisers, such as solicitors and valuers involved in your case.
- Service providers who host our website, email and forms on our behalf.
- Regulators and authorities where the law requires it.
Some of our service providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for up to two years if no finance is arranged. Where we arrange finance, we keep records for at least six years after our relationship ends, to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, ask us to transfer it, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email [email protected] to make a request.
